Eye Glass Distribution in Nepal

This year, 100,000 pairs of eyeglasses were distributed throughout Nepal within three months. 80,000 pairs of eyeglasses, donated by Restoring Vision USA, were distributed by February 28, 2022. The remaining 20,000 pairs were distributed through our George Newell Medical camps, Chainpur village clinic, and Helping Hands Community Hospital, Kathmandu.

We will receive another 100,000 pairs of eyeglasses from Restoring Vision this year in June, which are to be distributed throughout Nepal by the end of this year. The estimated cost of transportation from China to Kathmandu is $12,000. We are looking for a kind donor/s to support this cause. Our goal is to distribute to the people of the western mountain region of Nepal, where these opportunities are usually not so common.
